Why the Extra Notches?

This is my second time ordering products and I thought I was purchasing the same item as before. This one is longer and will hold more books, which is great. However, there are extra tabs/notches at the bottoms of the back panels that make it harder to put together. I know it's probably for added stability, but I've had zero problems with my other wooden stands that I've had for years. I don't think I'm going to like the extra time it will take to put together and take apart this stand with the extra tabs. Plus, I'm worried I might wind up breaking them off while putting the stand together or taking it apart.

Arrived quickly and exceeded my expectations!

I decided to order these last minute before a show and I did not expect to get them in time (I had a backup plan) but they arrived the day before my show! They are very nice quality, were easy to put together, and were perfect for displaying my notebooks at the show. So excited to use these going forward! Highly recommend.
